Hello,I’m eleanor

I’m a coach, mentor and consultant. I help you to navigate change. I’m also a writer and podcaster, and the founder of several businesses and platforms.

In my consulting and coaching space I work with senior managers, entrepreneurs, SMEs, people who want more from their work, who know things can be different.

All of us can reimagine our future. But I know it can feels hard sometimes. My coaching is about creating space to allow you to unravel what is happening for you, so that you can get on with what you really want to do.

After 23 years of corporate life, working for brands such as Costa Coffee, RAC, Virgin Atlantic and Vodafone, and having clients like Channel 4 , Trinity Mirror, Harvey Nichols and BAFTA and a book published by Penguin Random House, I understand the highs and lows of change and starting something new.

I’m here to help you see change as opportunity.

“So much more than a user guide to life after redundancy, it’s an inspiring lesson on how to deal with knocks of every day life; written with humour, empathy and honesty”

- Debbie Hewitt, Chair, The Football Association

As a redundancy survivor, this book reminded me why an ending, especially an unexpected one, can be the best kind of beginning. Packed full of realistic inspiration, advice and motivation, this is the perfect guidebook for the moment when your career punches you in the face.”

-Viv Groskop, author of Lift As You Climb

What people say about working with me…

"Working with Eleanor was a really positive game-changer for me. Eleanor provided some much-needed reassurance, clarity and direction at a crossroads moment in my career. Leaving a job and an industry where I had worked for many years to venture into something new was pretty challenging. It opened my eyes to the many possibilities out there - it certainly gave me a real confidence boost. I'd thoroughly recommend coaching with Eleanor - it could be one of the wisest moves you make."

- Gary Nicks, Head of News, MOD

“I found Eleanor to be an excellent coach. Working with Eleanor I moved on quickly and can honestly say she changed my life.

She really made me question what I wanted and what was important to me. I questioned everything and only applied for roles I was interested in and met my criteria. In the end I was juggling two job offers.

Eleanor always asked the key questions that made me really think and gave me the confidence to try something out of my comfort zone. The feedback I had at both interviews was amazing and that was because I was so clear about what was important to me in terms of people, culture and values. I will always be grateful to Eleanor. In just over 3.5 months I moved to a whole new place.”

- Carol Hughes, Head of Sales, Weleda

“Working with Eleanor has been enormously helpful for me as I go through the process of clarifying and then articulating my business offer. The individual programmes within the platform (such as ‘Nail Your Thing’) have prompted real exploration of what I’m trying to do and what’s possible. My initial fledgling Alcohol Mindset Coaching ideas have been elevated into a much greater mission to confront the stigma around alcohol and start the wellness conversation that no one is having. Eleanor has been both a great facilitator and sounding board throughout – and its been so helpful to be part of a community of other founders and entrepreneurs being challenged with the same questions.”

- Anna Donaghey, Strategy Director and Beliefs Coach

“I joined Recommended because I wanted to grow the side of my business that helps companies to develop, support and retain women.  It's brilliant to be part of a directory alongside other experts in their field but the additional support Eleanor and her team provide is brilliant.  Eleanor suggested and helped me scope out a new product which has already brought in 5 times the cost of joining Recommended and has opened doors to longer term relationships with high profile companies.  Eleanor always overdelivers so the value for money is exceptional whether you are an established business looking to raise your profile in the media or in the early stages of nailing your offer.”

- Carla Miller, Women's leadership coach, trainer and author
